Love that movie the store they robbed was in sonora, ca, I like the scene at the Farmington store on the steps and the walnut orchards where out of Linden, ca. Great movie
Two things about this movie, I wanted to marry Susan George after seeing it , and the acting gene definitely wasn’t passed from Henry Fonda to Peter Fonda .
Vic Morrow was excellent in this movie. Little known fact. He was terrified of helicopters. And had a premenition he would die in a helicopter crash. Ironic he actually did.
Great movie. I love the helicopter chase at the end too, it has the late great film pilot Jim Gavin and he gets to do some acting with dialogue for a change.
They filmed this movie around where I live…..we saw alot of different scenes being filmed and met most of the actors……some of my favorite memories……also great car movie
I loved all those location based movies back in the 60’s and 70’s. I road tripped and hitchhiked so much that I was familiar with nearly half the locations, especially in the West.
The greatest, movie ending ever! Although sad
One of the great endings.
Relatively boring movie. Absolutely terrible ending.
Great movie love that movie when it came out and still love it
A great fun movie for it’s day, not to be taken too seriously.

I remember watching this on the late night movies that aired on Saturday nights with my grand parents and Great Great Great Aunt back in the day.

Love that movie the store they robbed was in sonora, ca, I like the scene at the Farmington store on the steps and the walnut orchards where out of Linden, ca. Great movie
The best road movie , it had comedy , action , brilliant helicopter stunts and no silly car chase music .
Two things about this movie, I wanted to marry Susan George after seeing it , and the acting gene definitely wasn’t passed from Henry Fonda to Peter Fonda .
I loved that movie 🎥 everything about it !I almost cried at the end when the train destroyed them never forget it great movie!
as featured in The Fall Guy opening *spoiler alert!*
It was filmed in Sonora Ca. The save mart they robbed is still there.
Vic Morrow was excellent in this movie. Little known fact. He was terrified of helicopters. And had a premenition he would die in a helicopter crash. Ironic he actually did.
Loved this movie. The end was tragic. Mostly for the Charger Peter Fonda was driving. We all know the actors didn’t actually die, right ?
First time I saw it was in a drive in. Great movie! Still watch it occasionally.
Vic Morrow probably should have gotten the lead…Fonda was never the actor his father was.
I saw this at the old Morris Theater downtown Morris when it came out. GREAT movie. Susan George was HOT too!
Great movie. I love the helicopter chase at the end too, it has the late great film pilot Jim Gavin and he gets to do some acting with dialogue for a change.
This movie had the GREATEST ending of ANY movie ever made!!!
It was a corny movie but had some good driving scenes , I graduated in 74 and caught this at my local drive in, loved Mary and her halter top!
