It looks like they fucked it up. Tony is EIGHT or NIINE YEARS OLD in 1967. How the fuck did they think we wouldn’t notice. Now hopefully the scenes with Tony are in the mid 70’s, but it doesn’t look like it. Instant complete FAIL. Fans will not accept this, and that’s the people who will pay to watch this. Shameful of Chase to do this.

Nah man junior is Tony’s grandfather. Silvio was an entirely different character who was in Tony’s crew in the tv series.

I honestly think it takes place in multiple times. Like showing the newark riots and what Dickie did during them that precipitated his death in the 70s when he starts to mentor tony. My evidence for this is if you look at ray liotta in the pic he has a full head of dark hair with only a little gray. At the very end of the trailer hes talking to Dickie from what looks like prison and his hair is totally grayed out. His words being stay out of your nephew’s life. So theres no doubt in my mind this is a time jump story with the newark riots opening and then jumping to the 70s plot.
