I know he was preparing for his role in The godfather and how he had to speak the language Sicilian I felt he did a good job but while he was over there he was on he was around his own women but I bet you he didn’t have a relationship with any of them because Robert de Niro is strictly black women now Sharon’Stone stated she thought he was gay because he always were alone when he came to after parties for award show because she is one of the beautiful actress in Hollywood and she thought if he wasn’t mingling with his kind he was gay he was gay all right he was on the down low with his black women to each his own I just know he is a good actor and I love him and raging Bull you did a good job I wish him well cuz he’s one of the best actors in Hollywood

Sure he did… Since he was a young actor, Mr. De Niro gets very deep into his characters. He literally sets his flesh and blood, and the result..is simply Majestic..!!
Great actor who prepares by giving attention to every single detail. I like to think that when Fanucci pinches Vito’s cheek and then Vito ‘wipes it away’ with his fingers, he was giving an acting nod to that same habit of ‘brushing his cheek with his fingers’ that Brando used in Godfather 1.
No wonder he could speak Italian to “Russel Bufalino” in The Irishman.
