  1. Bob—Thank you for this one especially. . . Friend gave me a 1950 CRAFTSMAN cast iron jointer his Dad had bought new. Using your design today, I made a tool stand for it. 30" x 18" x 24. Add 5" wheels and the jointer height and I'm at 36.25" . . . Just as you said, squaring it up required clamps and extra triangular bracing. WONDERFUL result. Thanks again

  2. Hey Bob, i made a workbench from this project! i really love these projects and stuff like that, for the moment i only have a good hammer and a good hack saw. I've builded out of pallet wood, and instead of a plywood top i took the rest of the pallet wood got them lined up and nailed a board from underneath, the top of the table just slides in into the hole, plus i've had a big rubber mat and now its on top of it, its perfect. Now i finally have a workbench instead a woobly plastic table i used before, i've already started my projects with HDPE and other stuff. Thank you very much for being one of my main inspirations to be an actual wood, metal, glass, plastic, worker, and thank you for the table desing ^-^. Oh and people in Brazil also enjoy your videos! (me incluided)

  3. What is the average price of a single 2×4? And how much is a slab of MDF per square inch?
I bought a steel working table for $110 but it was so poorly designed that it wobbled all the time, so I had to bolt it to the wall. Now I need to make a new table from scratch, and your project seems fun to do. Too bad I don't have a table saw, though.

  4. You can call yourself BOB THE AMAZING!!! as far as I'm concerned. I just turned 65 and have started my new hobby, woodworking, in my new workshop. You have taught me a ton of new stuff and have some awesome ideas. Thank you!!!

  5. I just made a 24"x24" table for my miter saw today. I used Simpson strong ties because they are great for heavy duty tables. I had a friend stand on it afterwards. He weighed 250 pounds and it did not move.
