First time in my life I rewind to watch an ad again.
I found it to be faster to do the stain/painting or sanding while the boards are whole(before assembly) afterwards if they just need a touchup on the end grain.
For the mower you said no belts… Are the blades direct drive too, or is there belts there???

this might be a dumb question but would it be possible to use something like epoxy as a wood finish to make it last longer?
If those trees are 12 feet apart you are at least 8 feet tall….. Just looking them (assuming you are 5'8" to 6' tall the are only about 7 feet apart (maybe 10 feet if you measure to the outer sides).
