  1. Stumbled upon your channel from a comment you made on cuckoos op1 tutorial from yearsssss ago! Dope videos man. I’m not even INTO wood building but you made me interested in it. That’s the sign of a quality video as far as I’m concerned 👌🏾👌🏾

  2. Hey! I'm from Family Handyman, we saw one of your videos and would love to speak with you about promoting it across our brands. Please reply to our comment so we can get in touch!

  3. The sun disappears on the horizon.
everyone is in the heat of passion. I cannot separate man from man. If an ant loses its nest, I will not be able to sleep that night. Whether it's an Eskimo youth at the poles or a strange black man in Africa, language, religion, color doesn't matter, since we have human respect. Colors don't matter. The important thing is to live and let live as HUMAN. Salute to those who value humanity… I hope you honor us with your visit.

  4. Gotta say really nervous about the grade sending water into the wall where the windows were. That really needs some serious attention. Best plan is not to depend on just the water proofing but fix the outside problem too.

  5. Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.

  6. How sure are you that the vapor retardant isn’t going to condensate on the backside between the block. I’m sure you’ve done your research but putting ‘plastic’ over anything below grade scares me! Great video tho!

  7. It's good to see the Perkins guys in action. However, they don't seem to share many "pro tips" as they normally do. You might add that to the contract next time you hire them 🙂

  8. You could’ve framed those walls on the ground and stood them up, since the studs and two plates are 1.5” shorter than the overall due to the double top plate (which is literally not doing anything). Just nail the upper top plate to the bottom of the joists, frame the wall, then stand it up and slide it under the upper top plate. If it’s tight, coerce it with a nine pound hammer. I’m surprised Jason didn’t suggest that

  9. Really enjoy your videos. Just a point. If you are getting moisture on that back wall. All that plastic sheet is going to do is condense it and it will collect in the floor and rot the base of your stud wall. It needs airflow.

  10. I think the wooden buttresses are there because the retaining wall is tilted. So as a safety measurement the previous tenant/owner installed these triangular walls against the concrete part of the exterior wall. If I had to tackle this problem I would build a couple or three buttresses along this wall but made out of concrete just protruding 80 cms (30 inches) from the surface of this wall
