  1. Using "Mid-Way" electrical plates will be a game changer. They don't look strange like "Jumbo" but give you a little added coverage. And adding draft doger gaskets between devices and plates help to round out the air sealing.

  2. I really really really like your videos. Like so much. That being said, I can't believe I have watched to many hours of this build only to see the walls finished in PLYWOOD. ffs. It must be lighting or something because it just looks so bad in the video. I hope I'm wrong.

Otherwise, I can't wait to see new tips and tricks to getting so much other stuff done! Thanks so much!

  3. I like this and have thought about putting up plywood behind my laundry machines so I can access the electrical and plumbing if needed. But what about fire safety? Drywall would be safer, right?

  4. Man…. I really want to like it! The rooms just look too much like that 60/70s wood paneling. I wonder if making the ceiling or a wall or two would change that.

  5. My first apartment was a split house and they used plywood to make the division. It didn't block sound AT ALL. My neighbors toilet was on the other side of the wall from mine and we had the same schedule. Every morning we took a unified poop. What a time.

  6. Well, looks OK , from distance , but SCREWWS ?!! it can be done with out them with splice, and lastly no edge banding?!! RAW EDGES !!! that is little bit to much cowboy way but you are good at filming editing and narrating , well good luck

  7. Oh, and I feel you on the wood variation. Happened to me before for a huge build, and I was at a time crunch and couldn’t return it either. You were smart to separate them and group them by room, though. Looks great!

  8. This is AMAZING. Y’all did an outstanding job, and the prep work and jig were all worth the effort. You’ve inspired me. Now I’m thinking of doing something similar as a feature wall in my master bedroom, with a bump out for the headboard and floating nightstands. Really great job!

  9. Ya no poly over the insulation spells mold trouble, even though the insulation is moisture resistant the water or breath vapor will hide back there. It’s got to come back down eventually I’ve seen it many times

  10. Why so many small windows? Great idea with the plywood, browsing around trying to find some alternatives to drywall for my 116 year old mill home.

  11. I love the plywood paneling. You gave an idea for the workshop walls. I didn't want to drywall! What kind of plywood panel did you use for the project?

  12. Hmm I'm still not convinced by the look. You are right that it looks clean and modern, but I can't get over the shed vibes.

That said, you've done it really well, not sure it could be done any better than you have managed.
