DIY toy car display by Empnoia.

Organize your kids’ toy cars on a shelf, made with the appropriate dimensions. The cars are displayed so nicely that it motivates your kids to tidy their toys, as well as yourself to make a collection of your favorite cars in miniatures!
I believe that even if the children grow up, the shelf will remain on the wall to decorate the room. Besides, it is thin and was placed behind the door of the room, so that its presence is not intense nor tiring.
Its construction is relatively easy. One thing that raised the degree of difficulty was the different depth that the divisions have in relation to the two extra shelves, top and bottom. I should find a way to make them look good. The solution I preferred was for all the shelves to come face to face and to put the pieces of the back on different levels.
For wood I chose 15mm birch plywood for the frame and 6mm for the partitions, for its durability. For the back I used 8mm melamine, a remnant of another construction.
For the screwing on the wall I put two screws on top and two on the bottom because I want it to be stable. Note that it needs a little attention, because although it is a small in volume construction, as soon as we add the cars the weight changes significantly. This is not an exaggeration, because, when addressing to young children, we must be very careful.
