I'm have just started watching these videos, I am enjoying the build, and your videos are well done and you do great work, just one question, are you independently wealthy like Bruce Wayne or something? Seeing all the high-end tools you have in your shop, and how you keep showing up with all these new expensive tools as these videos go, I am just a bit curious how you can pay for all that, I know those are not cheap tools by any means lol
the color of the vanity bottom is a crime for this modern style bathroom. Unless HOA required that finish to limit the modern look ;P ;P
so much fancy~!! how do I make this one as beginner… impossible… I don't have any tools …and skills to use tools… sigh…
Hi there, did you just have the one cleat or was there another lower down? I am thinking of making a similar one but it will have a stone top (heavy 🙂 ) . Thanks in advance
intro 11/10
very good👍
This is beautiful, and I love how well edited is the video – unfortunately, I’m a beginner and have very little tools
Great video and beautiful vanity!
Good video 👍
Great idea on that under sink led strip. Wonder how high you set the vanity height. Appreciate your response!
excellent vid man … super cool and great walk through as usual.
What's the lead time and price point on that hex tile? I love it and doing my bath.
Mullion
Funny!
please add a disclaimer that you're sponsored by Rockler
Awesome build. It is funny how most of the time it is the product not mentioned in the description that I'm most interested in 😜 I found the SPAX T-Star plus Trim Head Screws for MDF and Fiberboard on their site. Thanks for the heads up about it.
Thank you so much for this, I’m inspired, going to try it , . Thank you for the pro tip
Love the new style, Johnny. And the playing card trick is one of my favorites I've learned!
Hello there, I have requested your DVDs, for simpler and quicker approach to manufacture a shed woodplans.works I trust the substance are as you guaranteed it will be. Just I'm worried with the substance, it won't be anything but difficult to settle on a decision from the various plans.
Have you every thought bout getting a helper that could be full time for you ? If so I’m from Texas Sit I’m willing to re Locate
You have invested in some nice equipment, sawstop , most important for safety, we have three of them .
Beautiful
I have used contact cement on way too many of my builds. A majority of the times that the two surfaces wouldn’t stick together was because the surface absorbed too much of the glue and did not leave enough on the surface to react with the other layer. You get this a lot in gluing laminates. The laminate might only need one coat and the wood side could take three coats. The old contact cement that smells like death really is the best. It’s just so awful and for some reason costs more than liquid gold. Great video, can’t wait to see more. 😀
"9:15" – smells like Death!! — Death Cement? Band name?
Good video as always ! thanks!
Do you think you could have stopped the top bowing if you sealed it completely?
Such a simple project, yet it took a 25 minute video to make the most profits from advertising all those products and tools that the average diy woodworker does not have.
I can't understand vessel sinks that take up the entire countertop… Can anyone enlighten me
Is that an addition to the hat for a pencil holder or is it the hat itself???
What power bank did you use for the LED lighting? I love the idea, but the power bank I bought has an auto-off feature that is causing me problems. Thanks!
Final results look great! I really like the drawer front bevels for drawer pulls. Looks very classy.
That water based contact cement seems like anything "green" these days. It sorta works but not nearly as well as the tried and true, non green stuff. I recently needed to give some paint brushes a good cleaning from dried up paint. The store didn't have the normal stuff I usually get so I got some "green" brush cleaner they had. Totally worthless! It didn't stink and was a pretty white color, but didn't do squat to clean brushes. Might as well have used milk. Got some of the petroleum based stinky stuff and worked perfectly as expected. 🙂
Love the Ferris Bueller reference. Perfect!
Killer job on the vanity!
Thank you sir Godbless
Really like this style of narrating as you go! Shows us a different side of the process. Great work!
Well I watched this with out volume. I have done this for 40 years I can just watch. It’s very obvious to me what’s going on here for the DYI. First off the case work is VERY labor intensive that can be simplified . Then it’s just a big advertisement for Rockler tools. I bet the DIY doesn’t have half the tools that are shown here. Sure go out and buy them use them once put them on Craigslist a year later.
Johnny squat is back!!!
Whoa, what the hell Johnny? You're making an actual piece of furniture?!
I used the 3M spray adhesive that comes in a green (you can get at most hardware stores) can last year for a countertop. I just followed the instructions and it came out perfect.
5:44 You forgot to use up the leftover epoxy. Take a few random boards out and fill any defects. Fewer defects to deal with in future projects, and no wasted epoxy.
Forget contact cement, get a vacuum bag and just use wood glue.
Where you get that wutang shirt from?
Always enjoy your videos but, this format > the voiceover format 👍
really great idea with battery pack. great simple solution to getting power to the lights. nice job. would love to hear a follow-up to battery life after some times passed.
I love your videos on the Not so tiny house but I’m really happy to see you working back inside for a wood project.. and what a crazy project 👏👏👏…
A french fan who’s always thinking when he watch your videos that he can never do the same work 🤣…
Don't get me wrong buddy…. but your voice over videos are good
fantastic project addition … I just happened to find 25 minutes and 35 seconds to watch this …. you are sooo good at these vids wonderful perfection.
Beautiful design and build. It looks amazing!
Gorgeous!! Such a nice combination of materials!! and that under cabinet light will really come in handy😀
