What was the reason you went with 16” stud spacing instead of 24”?
Great shots. Surprisingly hard to find a video that explains how to connect two sections of all properly.
When square footage is tight, it helps if statement pieces are both charming BestTiny.House and useful. An old wood-burning stove brings a vintage vibe to new construction and also heats the entire place.
My friend for sharing such wonderful work of yours in a very affordable cost shedbuilder.work The quality of the work and the materials far exceeds the price. This is the best offer so far.
Please does anyone know what magnetic screw/bit holder he is using on top of his gun? I’ve been searching for hours online and had no luck in finding it. He used is at 5:12.
I have to ask , why didn't you simply not use a framing nailer for when fixing all your pieces of timber (lumber) together ?…. nail guns are way faster than screwing not to mention buying nails is cheaper than screws, Screwing the frame to the concrete wall you definitely needed screws though .. and your not having to change batteries so often on nail guns either as much as you are impact drivers.
Completely understand if you didn't want to buy a framing nailer , but personally I think you would have had alot faster process framing if you hadn't of screwed everything .. I mean all contractors, carpenters and framers I know use nailers… Screws are a stronger fix I will admit, but I mean I think Its a little over kill and a time waste screwing it all together … If its apart of your locate areas code, then I will understand fully
other wise Great job on your build, fan of the videos, love watching you piece stuff together, your quality and attention to detail is astounding … Hello from MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA, by the way , I have bored some of your previous garage storage/work bench designs for my own garage at home just tweaked your design to suit my own comfort/preferences that work for me personally.
Why not build the office to the window. It seems so cramped
Looks great and I learned some new tricks.
Did you consider securing the bottom plate with shooting nails in instead of drilling and anchoring?
Nice work.
Whats your friend name whom with you work ?
Definitely a lot of work. How long did that actually take y’all to frame out the shop?
Man I enjoy your videos and your work. But once you You tubers get into these giant shops it just makes you kind of un-relatable. Don’t get me wrong though. I am happy for you. Those space saving shop projects are my favorites.
Maybe I missed it, but why is the office roof so skookum?
What a killer shop. Can’t wait to see you in it.
Where did you get the magnetic screw holder for the top of your impact gun?
17:29 you were receiving a phone call
what do you use to magnetize the top of your dewalt driver so the screws will stick there?
Why not use metal studs? Asking since I work in the city, never used wood before
What an awesome space! Totally jealous now!
Tbh I wasn't expecting to watch all 20 minutes of this, figured I would skip around a bit but before i knew it the video was over lol. So awesome! excited to watch the new space come together! congratulations!
these guys r fuckin morons lmfao
Great video and awesome tutorial for the layman on framing but having come up as a residential wood framer who moved on to commercial build outs on existing shells….steel studs are the way to go (It took me a while to accept it). Can't wait to see how you finish it out and start using it!
This is going to be a fun series. You’re lucky to have a good friend like that. Dude seems pretty legit 👍👍👍👍
What is 'plum'? The translation makes no sense haha…
Is it checking it's perfectly straight vertically?
I'd love to hear more about how you decided on the overall height of the framing. I see you left a ton of space between the roof and the ceiling you will add (I'm assuming). Thanks for the great teaching for newbie builders like me!
I like this series man! Can't wait for the next episode!
Did you put headers in just to keep the trolls away? 😛
Looking great!! Can’t wait to see it in person.
It’s always exciting to see someone’s business and hobbies grow. My wife would never see me if I had a space like this that wasn’t attached to my house 😂😂
Btw, That Dewalt track saw is pretty awesome. I might need to add that to my list.
Looks great! Why aren’t both walls going up to the full ceiling height?
I'm really enjoying construction videos like these for helping understand how walls are actually put together! Keep them coming, nicely done! 🙂
Why couldn't I find this video yesterday? I literally just framed 2 walls yesterday with door openings. That partial cut trick in the sill plate is genius. Definitely learned a new trick today. You earned a subscriber just from that.
