It is literal child porn. There are horrific sex scenes that were left in the cutting room. I used to be a fan of this movie, but I opened my eyes and saw it for what it really is. Beyond disturbing. And for her mother to allow this to happen is insane to me.
Really great underrated movie! It’s the type of movie that will stick with you in your thoughts for a few days afterwards. I just wish it ended differently. Portman was phenomenal in this at such a young age.
