This was and is one of my all time Favorite Movies ever!! I love Barbra Streisand since I was about 10 years old. When I saw The Way We Were, I was about 12 or 13. The love story between the two of them was like magical. I was sure when they got together it would be forever. Now, 50 years later at 60, I know nothing lasts FOREVER!! I still love this movie though!! 💜💜

went to see this in 1974 as end of year excursion Needless to say the nuns were shocked and they had taken a group of 11year old girls to see this movie They sat in the cinema with their eyes covered for alot of the movie
This movie showed that love doesn’t conquer all. Careers and strong opinions won the day. I bawled and bawled, wanting love to win. I still do when I hear her sing The Way We Were. 😭🎶
