Why operate above the kids??? Talk to the director, change the shot, get a remote head, get those kids out of there.
Lightweight remote crane shot and why the kids underneath . Why the risk and rig time for that . ???
That’s appalling, no one should be operating the camera on any sort of crane is this day & age,especially above Children for Gods sake, remote heads were designed for this, this is unprofessional & dangerous.

The most dangerous thing about this rig is that the Cam Op doesn’t have any harnessing gear or crash pads in the event he falls. Other than that it’s a very safe rig.
That seems EXTREMELY unnecessary.
