  1. I hope people do research on some of the remodeling he does, a lot is not to standard or code. I really like what you do bro but you may need to do some more research on some things so people are not steered in the wrong direction. You do good work man, just want to be sure viewers are good.

  2. Man, I've loved watching your videos! Fun and educational. I'd add here that for beginning drywallers, fiberglass tape is the way to go. Took me two garages for my paper tape to stop bubbling (and one of those walls I had to do half of it twice…), so I switched to fiberglass and its so much better. Also, if you are doing more than a single bathroom wall, the slightly larger compressor and the texture gun are SO worth it. Better results than a can, a lot faster, and upgrading from that pancake compressor everyone starts with is a marked improvement for all one's pneumatic tools. (Same goes for buying a paint sprayer…)

Keep up the great videos please!

  3. So informative! I’m doing a wall mounted faucet for my powder room & YouTube has failed with any good waterline replacement/extension videos. This one, perfection. I didn’t even know shark bite connections existed, but now it’s about to make this project a lot cheaper for me 👏🏻

  4. Isn’t it dangerous to have a junction box exposed like that behind the mirror? Without any drywall / sealant in front of it to keep the moisture out

  5. I love your videos man but please improve the plumbing. That elbow for the lavatory is not a sanitary, never use sharkbite fittings, and replace the polybutylene anytime you see it.

  6. As an electrician I could only help but laugh WITH you as painful memories of old working romex and MC in walls resurfaced themselves. Also you can not hide splices in walls without access because of NEC code violations. Love the videos 🥇

  7. Tip I got from a pro: if you’re running wire through a hard to reach space, pick up some fiberglass rod and zip tie the wiring to the end of the rod. The rod can flex enough to get around whatever it needs to and it’s stiff enough that you can actually maneuver it through all those tough spaces while it supports the wire!

  8. Alex, you encourage my husband and I to diy projects for our home. We love how your projects turn out very professional looking. Please keep up the hard work.

  9. Not bad for not being a plumber. Some tips tho if you ever read this. The vent from the toilet if it’s a 3” drain line can be 8’ away. The abs pvc glue is banned in a lot of states because it doesn’t work well. The waterlines always go above the drain. Other than that your work looked nice !

  10. I love how you explain details like codes, proper transition, proper placement, etc. This is the first video I have watched of yours but I have watched a ton of how-to videos on YouTube and most people don't explain little details that we amateur do-it-yourselfers need to know. Great job please always explain the details like this. Thank you very much.

  11. Any issues with pex piping ? I’ll be in the process of a bathroom Reno and would like to use it as well .. just hear stories of failing.

  12. Love the videos! Just a tip though, next time you’re looking for plumbing fittings, make sure you’re in the DWV section and not the pressure section. That 1.5” street 90 you used for the lab drain was for pressure pipe. Thank me later😉

    Sincerely,
    Your Neighborhood Plumber

  13. You shouldn’t put a bend under the toilet because the toilet itself has one this will cause the toilet to smell and the pipe will get clogged up eventually, the bend should be under the sink and shower only
