In case anyone wants to buy these cheap cabinets… Don't! I had these in our house when we moved in. 3 years later, Mfd is flaking and some have cracks. Don't cheap out on cabinets!
If you grew up in the 90s, oak was EVERYTHING!!! Cupboards,trim,tables,chairs,end tables, couch molding/feet, entertainment centers, living room floor speakers and the list goes on. So yeah to some of us it’s ugly and dated.
Great work. I’m about to do my kitchen with kraftmaid from Lowes. Where did you get that trash can electronic opener? Is that a 96” oven cabinet with the 7” drawer? I order that one and was concerned my oven/microwave combo would have a lot of space between the oven and drawer below and also the oven and cabinet doors above but yours doesn’t. I ordered a Cafe combo oven.
At 12:50 super scary to see 220vts screwed to the floor! Half inch of water on that floor and it’s a wrap 😮

Before I do this – any idea if replacing old, attractive, but VERY badly designed cabinets and replacing with modern ones – with much more storage, space, etc; will raise value of home substantially?

Im almost certain this what a absolute total waste. Couldve kept the old cabinets and painted them and upgraded them and saved like 80% of what was spent. And also not ended up wasting so much.

cabinets are viewed as being more permanent than the flooring. If someone wanted to get rid of your hard wood floors, they would be cursing the person that installed them under the cabinets….also there's the expansion issues when putting cabinets on flooring….
So much hard work! I wanted to install kitchen cabinets myself and came to search for how to do it. But your video have made me discouraged
As an amateur with woodworker, I typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement. Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans.works I now work like a genius. That is great!
