Great job, love the series! For tightening finished plumbing fixtures and fittings you can use a piece of rubber like from old cut garden hose or industrial elastic on your tools jaws, or wrapped around the fixture. You can also purchase a fairly cheap boa constrictor snake wrench, which are specifically designed for that.

put a screwdriver into the shower arm and use that to turn until straight this way won't scuff the finish on the outside
For screwing pipe fittings in and getting them in the right spot, use a teflon tape and liquid PTFE to ensure a seal without having to wrench on the fittings so hard.

I'm in the midst of a really similar bathroom reno — doing the same geberit carrier with a toto wall hung toilet — I have it installed temporarily right now and I'm really impressed with the geberit system. But that duravit looks great. I ALSO have a friggin window in the shower… after watching your solution, I'm thinking I might just frame it in LOL I have to re-side the house anyways. Impressive finished product!

I'm really sorry to say, but you haven't installed a bathroom, it's a work of art!! OK, it's a work of art that functions as a bathroom but you get my point. The work you put into this is truly amazing and I can see why it's taken 3 months. I'm guessing this isn't normally the first one that a new plumber/bathroom builder is asked to put together as it has some very, very tricky things to put together. The finished result is awesome and I especially like that sliding shower door, closely followed by the toilet. Definitely a job well done 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm a fan of your work, but I don't for one second believe you were really going to buy that $3K toilet anyway. It just doesn't marry up to the tiny-home economy mind set and seems a lot more like a hail mary that paid off.

To put the shower arm on without scratching, stick the handle of your pliers into the hole and use it as leverage to tighten it. So you'll have to put the shower head on after

with the bent shower head elbows, leave the head off til its already on, and put the rubber coated handle of your channel locks into the end of the pipe. the extra length and angle should give you the leverage to get it turned around and lined up. no need to grab ahold of the outside

I'll never understand why in many cultures (?) you use fixed shower heads coming straight from the wall. That's your real problem right there, not that screwing them on is difficult…
