  1. Question for this channel or anyone who had made cutting boards! I live in AZ and during the summer my workspace (garage) will be 90-100 constantly. Can I let the mineral oil and butcher block conditioner dry in that heat? Or should I bring it inside until the weather is a bit less harsh? Thanks in advance!

  2. Very nicely done. Some like putting those tiny rubber "feet" at the corners to slightly raise the board while some other people say that by doing so it takes away the ability to turn the board over for using the other side. I suppose each has their likes and dislikes but either way, your board is beautiful!

  3. just bought my planer and i cant wait to make my first cutting board! my only question is, is the planer enough to make flat pieces? i do not have a jointer..cheers!!! thank you for your videos!

  4. Gossipy, tall, nasty old Aunt Betty with the covered grey hair, Harley riding, bad mouthing pretty women and fake friending everyone wouldn’t even get the raw board from me. I’m making my first board for my lovely aunt Kim and it’s going to arrive with some special cheeses to go with her her new cheese board.

  5. This video has cost me hundreds of dollars. Once I saw the yellow heart 💛, I went to my local Austin Hardwoods and started buying it lol.
Great work, it definitely inspired me!

  6. Hi Brad. Your video on making high-end cutting boards is excellent. I am an experienced amateur woodworker who is now retired who has decided to finally make things to sell. After considering (and trying several ideas) I have settled on cutting boards and other ideas related to cooking which is my other passion. Thanks for your clear instructions. Frank in NC

  7. I really want to make a cutting board but have no planer or jointer. Would careful sanding or even a purchase of a cheaper hand held planer suffice?
