Yeah…but it depends on WHAT is inside …..rice or aquarium gravel &a little water+a dash of dish soap works, bottle brush, a sponge pushed around with a large spoon handle or a butter knife works as well…..again, depending on what is in there, sometimes a dash of bleach helps….

You can tell everything is wet in the bottle and that you just rinsed it out there was no scrubbing necessary.

Just fill it with soap, water and shake. Simple as that.
Better idea than using rice, especially for the tricky shaped bottles.
Rinse the bottle with a little water and add to any dish you are making. So there is no wasted sauce. Then wash properly with a bottle brush.
What a faff. Just half fill with water, put the top on shake! Why make life harder.

Any way that’s easy is fine with me. I do clean my empty bottles. Some took time. Some were a pain (like peanut butter).
