  1. swing and another miss Historic Photos this was NOT, I repeat, this was not a 70s fashion, I would know I came of age in the 70s as a long haired hippy till I joined the army in 78 oye, I really dont know where you find these fashions but they are not North American in that decade (California and maybe British Columbia, both weirdoes lol just funnin)

  2. I thought this was an ad for a shirt with a chest hair design on front! 🤦🏻‍♂️
If I ever dress as Zoro or Don Quixote, I’d definitely have to get one.

  3. The 70s had some of the goodies ideas for fashion. Most pictures that I actually see of people I’n the 1970s are wearing jeans and a t-shirt. 😀 I guess they thought these ideas were ridiculous too. 😛

  4. I was a young adult in the70’s; I Never saw this style shirt anywhere! But many men did wear shirts with a few top buttons unbuttoned & maybe wore a manly gold chain or 2. They still looked cultured & stylish & properly dressed, compared to todays sloppy & low dress standards.

  5. Whenever I want to show my hairless chest and my open heart surgery scar, I grab one of these shirts and I head over to the mall.

  6. “A dazzling shirt to make people look at you twice.” Indeed, the second look being necessary to check that their eyes had not been deceiving them on the first look.

  7. I don’t ever recall seeing that style on someone. Certainly not me, as I was always more pear-shaped and rather hairless. I haven’t known many (any?) women who liked hairy chests.

  8. Ah….the 70’s….a dark, dark time in human affairs….today we have “Licorice Pizza” and “The Northman”….back then, it was true cinematic art with “Smokey and The Bandit”.

  9. I’m still not sure how they managed to snag anyone to reproduce. I guess that’s why the song sang about “the lights turned down low…”

  10. A guy actually showed up at my Mother’s house in the early ’70’s to take me out on a date in a shirt like that, without the open front. I tried to get out through the back door of the house and told her to say I wasn’t home, but she refused to…He took me to the drive in and I spent the night pushing him away. Next time he called, I told him I wasn’t home. Could do that then, cause I had an older sister who talked like me…:-)

  11. I don’t know whats scarier, the ‘eye-catching cut-out’ or the acetate/nylon combo…. if you’re not blown away by the mere sight of it, one touch from the wearer and the static shock will do the trick!😂

  12. Now these are very popular among a certain “class” of women who like to show off their cosmetic surgery.

I do believe they are paying much more than $17 though…

Fashion repeats itself and labels it, “reinvented”.
