My favorite role of hers was in the movie”Nevada Smith” she played her parts with such great passion. A great example of her humor was shown one time when she was interviewed on Johnny Carson. He asked her if she had not been an actress what would have been her chosen profession. She responded with”I think I would have liked to have been a Madam at a whorehouse”
I always had a real crush on Suzanne Pleshette, starting with The Bob Newhart Show. She was active before that, I know, but that’s where I first saw her. Even years later, when she was in Good Morning, Miami, she had “it”(lol).
She was gorgeous, and she had such a sweet personality, but it really detracted from her concept that she was a smoker. Kind of like Lauren Bacall… perfect women who publicly committed suicide.
Love her looks that Voice and her Acerbic Razor wit and comedic timing – usually hot women aren’t funny and Funny Women aren’t really Hot !!! But every now and then bingo on both counts !!!
