Μια αγρότης ζωγραφίζει ρίγες στην αγελάδα της για να αυξήσει την ορατότητά της τη νύχτα και να αποτρέψει τροχαία ατυχήματα σε περίπτωση που αυτή περιπλανηθεί στο δρόμο κατά τη διάρκεια συνθηκών συσκότισης. (Μεγάλη Βρετανία, κατά τον Β’ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο)

  1. AND THEN, There was the farmer who painted COW on his herd during hunting season. When asked how it worked he said very well except they shot the hell out of my 🚜 🚜..

  2. Yes but they have to send a mass email to the crocodiles tell them those are not zebras, otherwise they’d start getting a lot of customer complaints from them 😀

  3. The sight of Barrage Bovines floating above the invasion fleet at Normandy was a stirring picture indeed 🐮🐮

  4. Apparently zebra stripes help to confuse flies, so the zebra doesn’t get as many bites from flies. I wonder if it would work with cows? 

  5. I really don’t think “farmer’s” wear lab coats and slight heals when out in the pasture, this looks more like a vet applying a topical medicine maybe for some type of mange or parasite remedy.

  6. Years back saw a picture of upstate New York dairy farmer that painted “COW” on both sides of his cattle. Apparently first time deer hunters had shot a couple of his dairy cows thinking they had just shot the biggest doe ever.

  7. Upstate New York farmers still do this when fall hunting season brings up the “Big Apple” hunters. Writing the word “COW” is also effective.

  8. My uncle hit a cow in 1982 with his brand new Ford f150. Cow survived, truck did not. My uncle was ok, but not happy
