Almost 9 feet tall.. For the record, no other being has been recorded of having a taller height…..🤔
He wore a custom size 37 shoe. You know what they say about the size of a man’s shoes . . .
He died in my hometown and one of his shoes was on display at local shoe store.
She’s staring him down
Wow
I’m interested in the cane. Did he have trouble balancing at that height? Or was it to take some of the weight off of his feet?
Very sad.
I went to high school with the world’s tallest woman, Sandra Allen. She was 7’7.
Yet in that picture you’d say he was in his mid 30s/ early 40s yet he was a teenager 😳
What is little Forest doing there lol
Today that would be the first billion dollar NBA contract.
Died of a poorly fitted
brace on his leg.He
was still growing. 8’11”.1 .
Pretty convenient. For her, she doesn’t have to kneel 🤔
Local Shoe Store has A Pair of his shoes!!
Sadly he died from shoes that were too tight. It rubbed blisters into his feet and it got infected. Because of his medication condition his immune was very low. Nowadays they probably could have done something though
And that is his son on the right, with the glasses, at 2 years old. No, no … it’s not, I lied. Sorry.
Very sad they had no way of helping him. 😢
That woman looking directly at his crouch and grinning 😂
Still not tall enough for modern women , they want more taller 😂
I have a question…where did he go to purchase his wardrobe?
He was from my hometown of Alton Illinois
My mother was a neighbor
He and my mother went to the same school in Alton , Illinois.
She said that his belt buckle scrapped a place high up on the wall in the stairway when he navigated between classes.
He tried to not be in other students way.
Panhyperpit is a brutal way to live
I remember learning about Robert Wadlow in The Guinness Book of World Records as a grade schooler.
He was going to die young because of his pituitary gland in his head being unchecked & out of control. Medical science & procedures weren’t available yet. Without me looking back at his history… I remember watching a YouTube video of him. He died even younger than expected, due to an uncontrollable foot infection caused by his shoe. 1 foot, 1 shoe. Great video
My grandmother met him in the late 1930s, the school took all the kids to see him at the local train station in Payette, ID. (SW ID…on the border with Oregon) all the kids brought loose change for him. Helped cover his expenses as he went school to school. She said he was very friendly and intelligent.
