Ίσως ένα από τα πιο γνωστά γεγονότα από την ιστορία του Λίντερχοφ είναι ότι ήταν το μόνο από τα υπέροχα ανάκτορα του Λουδοβίκου Β’ του οποίου η κατασκευή ολοκληρώθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια της ζωής του βασιλιά. The king had water piped from the mt. Behind his castle that went under the casle to fill the pond in front of the castle. Beautiful interior!

This 5 star castle is the most lavish of all of Ludwig’s several castle. Full of Meissen chandeliers gold everywhere. Beautiful fountain gardens too.
Have been there several times, including the grotto behind the palace. Not far from there is a wood working shop in a home that we go to when visiting. Owner is very friendly, does good work, and has become a friend. Look for the bears on the fence around the property.
